Refund Policy
 

At OTR Insurance Solutions, we strive to ensure fairness and transparency in all premium-related transactions. Refunds to the original credit card used for payment may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • If your insurance policy is canceled and results in an unearned premium; or

  • If you are entitled to a return premium due to an overpayment or adjustment, such as a premium reduction.

Refunds will be issued to the credit card used for the original transaction within 30 days of either:
(a) the date we are made aware of the refund due, or
(b) the date we receive a formal refund request from you — whichever comes first.

If the total refund due is less than the greater of either $100 or 5% of the total policy premium, we reserve the right to apply that amount as a credit toward future premiums on your policy. However, you may request that the amount be refunded directly to your credit card instead.

In cases where the full premium paid by credit card is being refunded, we may process the refund directly through the credit card provider as a full credit to your account.

Please note that for policy cancellations, if the amount owed to you or to us is $2.00 or less, no refund or billing will be processed.
